Christmas,Penguins, Bermudology,Tiger Woods and whatever random stuff i can fit in this title

Its nearly Christmas!! Merry crimbo in advance to everyone.
Christmas also means 2009 is almost over, which sort of frightens me. [Does anyone else remember all the Millenium hubbub? Yeah? Well that was ten years ago!!We're all slowly dying]

En plus, this is the first Christmas where I've actually had a job, which puts pressure on me to actually buy well thought out presents.

Unfortunately this rules out the easy option:
-brother 1. socks
-brother 2. socks
-sister 1. socks, pink.
-parents: generic scarvey glovey things.

In a moment of pure genius and sheer selflessness, however, I've decided to be less stingey and buy proper presents..."joint" presents..I come up with the idea, and the parents pay! Perfect! And,, still in the spirit of christmas I've signed up to volunteer at a Christmas shelter for homeless people ( HINT HINT, we need more volunteers!www...hang on, forgot link). ...I've just realised, though, that I'm not entirely sure what Ive gotten into. For instance, item three on the itenary reads

"make breakfast, talk to guests"

With my amazing -ish conversation skills I will probably end up telling the homeless guests all about my new world view Bermudology, which holds that the world is flat and outer space is just a mirage from the US government( who else), who hung up fairy lights as so called stars in the sky ..

( and also conveniently invented time zones, before any smartypant pedants who may be reading this ask.).

Ha ha. I see that I'm not getting out of my little fantasy mood any time soon, not since reading Shade's Children by Garth Nix- the ultimate fantasy escapism novel..you can read an excerpt herehttp://search.barnesandnoble.com/Shades-Children/Garth-Nix/e/9780064471961#EXC.

To any fellow lovers of alternate universes, Garth Nix is waaayy better than Philip Pullman, James Patterson, or Anthony Horowitz!

For any non lovers of alternate universes, please ignore that and I'll get back to Christmas.

Ah Christmas..a time for the idiotic media attacks on sports celebrities, the rigged betting over the UK's Christmas no1 ( YESS RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE!!) and shops raising prices like we dont know they just do it to make January sales look good..*rolls eyes*. New year is probably more important though, with all the resolutions, and new you's and dumping exes ( and getting a new one right on top of the Eiffel tower at the stroke of midnight- *cue more eye rolling*) to think of. I would talk about mine, except

im too lazy

and also

too sleepy

But more on this tomorrow...and I promise to even include something about the penguins!

xx Mango, or Chocolate, its been so long ive forgotten my little code name
